13th Annual TEA Walk
- This event has passed.
TEA Walk is the largest empowerment walk of its kind in the South, bringing together ever-increasing numbers of Atlanta’s diverse communities. Over the last 12 years, TEA Walk has provided a unique opportunity for all Georgians to celebrate the rich diversity of our State and to walk in unity to celebrate that diversity. TEA Walk provides a critical voice to the immigrant, refugee and limited English-proficient communities of Georgia and encourages us all to be educated about the issues that affect us, to be empowered to play a role in shaping our communities, and to mobilize to create positive change.
After a two-mile empowerment walk along Buford Highway in Doraville, Georgia, CPACS hosts a dynamic community fair and stage show, complete with light refreshments, music, dance, sponsorship booths, and more, all free of charge. TEA Walk 2016 hosted over 3,000 participants and engaged 260 volunteers.
Registration will be open the day of TEA Walk but pre-registration is preferred.
